Europe attractions, top destinations selection? The Palais Garner is a 2,000-seat auditorium and the very pinnacle of Parisian opulence – from the classical sculptures on its exterior to the mirrors, marble and parquet flooring of the Grand Foyer. There’s also the Grand Escalier, all red satin and velvet boxes, plus the library, museums and emperor’s private salons. (As you might expect, he didn’t fancy taking the front entrance with the rest of the hoi polloi, preferring instead an exclusive entrance at the rear of the building that his carriage could roll up to.)

Now, this is a gem – one of the best Croatia destinations that a tourist can select. The question is, ‘what’s so special about this national park?’. This national park has been listed since 1979 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a place where 16 crystalline lakes form a surreal atmosphere. All these lakes are connected with each other with waterfalls. It is not a free place to roam around and requires visitors to buy a ticket. The best way to wander around the park is on foot, and it will take approximately 6 hours or so. But it is worth the time spent. With more than 120 bird species and resident wolves and bears, this national park never fails to woo the travelers who travel to Croatia. Just one thing to remember – swimming isn’t allowed in any of the lakes. Also, those who want to explore via buses and boats, they are most welcome to do so with free services provided by the park.

On the River Noord between Rotterdam and Dordrecht is the famous village of Kinderdijk (“Children’s Dike”), which takes its name from an incident during the St. Elizabeth’s Day flood of 1421 after a child’s cradle had been stranded on the dike. The big draw these days are the fantastically preserved 18th-century windmills. Now UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the 19 Kinderdijk windmills, built between 1722 and 1761, are the largest surviving concentration of windmills in the Netherlands. Originally used to drain the fenlands, these majestic buildings with their impressive 92-foot sails are open to the public from April to October, including special Mill Days when the sails are set in motion.

Definitely, the island of Kalymnos is not short of places to photograph. From the awesome sunrise to the glorious sunsets to the charming strands, the island has many things you might want to capture and keep for memory. Unlike many other islands of its kind in the region, Kalymnos lacks those stringent photography restrictions. There is no place, region, its facility in the region that is restricted. Instead, you have the leeway to photograph just about any area. Closely related to this benefit is the lack of photography licenses or fees. You just have every other freedom to do whatever you want whenever you want it. This is a great reason to prioritize this area over and above alternative destinations.
