Do you want to enjoy a blue sky on a perfect beach ? Ibiza is a perfect place to relax. What can you see in Ibiza? Cafe del Mar: On the west coast of the island, Ibiza’s second-largest town was notorious in the 80s and 90s. These days it’s grown up a little, but is still the best choice if you’re after that heady combination of beaches and world-famous nightclubs. Head to the bay during the day for the narrow sandy beaches bathed by crystalline seas, or to amble along the promenade stopping somewhere for a beer of coffee along the way and taking in the Columbus egg monument. As the sun goes down hit Cafe del Mar, which has been playing lounge music for more than two decades as guests watch the famous sunset. At night there are buses to the legendary superclubs, Eden and Es Paradis.

The resort of Cala Llonga boasts a wide and sandy white beach, views over a beautiful bay and even hills covered in pine trees to frame the scenery. This is perhaps the most family-oriented place to visit in Ibiza, which means that you’ll find plenty of families with young children in the area. The main beach even offers a playground and a miniature amusement park to keep kids having fun throughout the vacation. Cala Llonga is also situated just 10 minutes from Ibiza Town, which means you can easily head away from the beach and explore the historic attractions any time.

Located on the West of the island, Cala Comte has a small beach with sun loungers as well as a rocky coastline with plenty of carved flat platforms to base yourselves on for the day – perfect for anyone who loves the sea but hates the sand. The water is shallow too which makes it a great spot to bring kids. Spend all day in the water until sunset, then head up to one of the three restaurants on top of the cliffs to enjoy the wide-lens views of the sun dropping behind the horizon.

Of course, the absolute best way to explore anywhere is to nab yourself a local to show you the ropes. Or maybe, you’re after some backpacking pals to explore the island with. Introducing Amistat Island Hostel… This instagrammable paradise, comes in hostel form and has an abundance of like-minded folk all experiencing alternative Ibiza too (with you?). Explore Ibiza’s hippy markets with the hostel crew or have a surf session in the nearby beach club, ‘Surf Lounge Ibiza’, on an epic manmade wave – you have to experience it to understand it! Expect inclusive vibes, communal dinners, guitar sessions on the beach at sunset, boat parties (we saw dolphins!), coastal walks alongside the slush puppie blue waters, cliff jumping for the adventurous and yoga for the zen. This ultra-modern (super fancy) hostel has the artiest private rooms, with en-suites and balconies. For the dorm-dwelling backpackers, the beds are SO comfy (tried and tested by us) and there’s a choice of female only and mixed dorms. Read extra info on https://discoveribiza.com/.
